Access is very tough on Dry Lake. Snowmobiles only. But, the few that are going out are getting nice walleye. Lake Hoskins bite is good for all species. You catch your 3 pike in a short time. Perch and Walleye are slow, but what you do catch are of a nice size and worth the wait. Dorfman in my book is a sleeping giant, with no access except a long snowmobile run. I haven’t heard any reports of late for Green Lake or Coldwater. The deer, like in most places are herding up. They look good, but time will tell. Pheasants are in big groups around farmsteads and shelter belts. I know their will be a reduction in pheasants come spring. We have enjoyed a lot of good years. There is always a down trend in wildlife. It will make us think more and hunt harder in the next few seasons.
